Absynthe and Pastis

Since  ancient times, anise was used by Mediterranean civilizations as an ingredient in alcoholic beverages. Sometimes anise is combined with other ingredients that characterize its taste, as is the case with the ancient, transgressive Absinthe, favorite drink of the French “poètes maudits bohemian” , or the typical, more modern Provencal Pastis born in the Occitan lands. The wise combination of pure alcohol, clear water from Alpine springs, flowers and fruits, together with several distillations, are the basis of what Bordiga is producing since old time.
